Still I'm drawn to think spm would not have tried to make a weak case on Loslote on Day1 if she were his mate. Okay, I'm not totally disreputing that idea either. Maybe he could have done it knowing we wouldn't bite on it on Day1 and would thence leave her as more innocent than not? Hard to say.
