Shade with a Blade

Quote:
"I still think we should have voted against Elrohir.... Maybe he has not caused any more obvious harm, aside from failing to vote yesterday, but silence can be as harmful as speaking up; and silence is much safer. The simple fact of the matter is that a quiet traitor is much less likely to be suspected than one who speaks his mind. Finally, he still needs to explain why he voted for Ugluk on the first day. Elrohir claims it was because of Ugluk's race, but surely no one is satisfied with this answer. I am not. "I have thought a little about Radagast. Hespoke very little while alive. Even less than Elrohir or Galadriel, and when he did speak, it was generally (apparently) whimsical and distracted - with little substance, and thus little to learn. He didn't even vote on the first day. Perhaps he felt that he didn't have to? He knew that, given the day's suspicions, either I or Gandalf would be killed. No vote leaves no trace. "Captain Ugluk, however, has identified an interesting comment made by Bombadil to Radagast. We may be able to learn something useful there. "I have nothing else useful to say for the present. I am, however, very curious to hear more from Elrohir and Bombadil."
