Saruman. How odd. But I couldn't answer some of the questions, as the options weren't always there. Personality: Saruman Description: You are a sleazy backroom dealer whose only interest is in securing the best possible advantage for yourself and to hell with anyone else. Sure, you may look like a companionable sort – what with your love of creature comforts and apparently winning ways – but when it gets right down to it you are only ever looking out for number one. You don’t have any friends because nobody is good enough or smart enough to deserve your friendship. |

Another Shelob speaking... Very good quiz, O Mighty Master of Polls. I always enjoy a quiz that isn't predictable and obvious.

I came out as Sauron, which is quite accurate in some ways, especially the world domination bit. But alas, I still have friends, and no slaves I know of. Unless perhaps I scare them into being nice to me....

Saruman. But book, not movie Saruman. (But don't tell Sauron, that moron has no idea he'll be bumped off later). Mwahhhh! P.S. There also seems to be a Harry Potter test, with even more bizarre options.

Hmmm.... I share the Orthanc Club with TGWBS, the Phantom, and Mithalwen (and others). I have to wonder, almost, if there is a correllation between one's Werewolfing style and one's villian.

*pokes in the air energetically with her umbrella* I absolutely insist upon Lobelia being added to the quizz. Why, I have wanted to explore this alter-alter-alter ego character for some time now and if I can't on a villains quizz, why I may be forced to put up arms--er, umbrellas--in an rpg. You all have been warned. That is all.

One more Saruman with me. Although I kind of didn't see the relation of my answers with the final description. But maybe that's just that psychology stuff? Unconsciousness driving the answers to goals your conscious mind doesn't see... Oh how bad we are!

You knew this was coming. Attack of the stats.

Saruman: IIIII III Sauron: IIIII II Shelob: IIII Gollum: I With Saruman and Sauron being nearly tied for a commanding lead, the Downs would appear to be inhabited by a number of evil Maia wanna-bes. I wonder what this tells us about Werewolf.

Sauron You are irredeemably bad. The whole world exists solely for your benefit even if the rest of us don’t know that yet. Fortunately, you are hatching your master plan for world domination so that you can make sure things are run the way they should be – which means the way you want them to be. You don’t have any friends, but that’s OK with you because you prefer whimpering slaves. The whole world exists solely for your benefit even if the rest of us don’t know that yet. I must say this sounds quite a bit like phantom. |

I dunno, TORE, I thought Saruman was a pretty good fit. Sure, you may look like a companionable sort – what with your love of creature comforts and apparently winning ways – but when it gets right down to it you are only ever looking out for number one. You don’t have any friends because nobody is good enough or smart enough to deserve your friendship. For me, the operative phrase in the Sauron description was you prefer whimpering slaves.

I do wonder if I would have got a different result had there been more likely holiday plans? I did spend my most recent time off at home on domestic tasks and hobbies but it isn't what I'd call a holiday. No option involving travel, guidebooks, backpacking and disappearing into the wild blue yonder for months at a time. Getting into a mild blue Honda to reach a friend's house ain't quite the same.

On a somewhat related, and curious, note, I also took the Harry Potter character test and got: Personality: Professor Dumbledore Description: Wise and old, but loved by all Hogwarts students - a great head and leader! So I got Saruman and Dumbledore. Hmm. (Well, at least it wasn't Gollum and the house elf in the second HP movie).
