merry being attacked by the ringwraiths outside the prancing ponythe key one is merry not receiving the sword from Tom (but then getting one instead from Galadriel - cheats!!!)gandalf not being seen fighting the ringwraiths on weathertopglorfindel's 'wrath of an elf lord' pushing the riders into the riverthe warg attack near caradhrasgollum in lothloriengandalf not explaining he captured gollum (but then how did he know gollum was captured and tortured by sauron then???), and the subsequent escape of gollum from the wood elves.sam looking in the mirrorloads more but one of the saddest for me missing is gimli, frodo and sam looking into mirrormere.....
