I mean, what thing in the movie would you change?
I know that I'd change the part when Arwen comes to them in FotR. Pippin should have noticed the three trolls. It would have been a lot better. Especially since Bilbo told that story in the begining.
I would also change the way the had Faramir. Definetly.
What do you think?
~Burzdol~

I'd change Faramir for sure, and possibly the whole Aragorn-falling thing. Maybe the Elves at Helm's Deep, but the rest of it I'm fine with.

No trip to Osgiliath for Frodo and Sam.
And I'd give Theoden his backbone again.

I completely agree. Bombadil should should have died at Helm's Deep instead of Haldir.
H.C.

Bombadil dying at Helm's Deep... LOL...
I very much agree that the whole bit with Faramir/Osgiliath (that made a near shambles of TTT for me) ought not to have seen the light of day. I wish too that the events at Helm's Deep had been a bit closer to the book.
As for FOTR, I did not entirely like the portrayal of Isildur or Aragorn. Also did not like some elements of Moria (could have done without the scuttling goblins climbing the roofs...). It was generally good, mind you, particularly the Balrog, and even improved in some bits (like the greater role of the cave troll) but I miss elements like the orc chieftain that actually skewers Frodo (logically, something as big as a cave troll, even if the spear did not pierce the mail, would have still simply crushed Frodo - I make armor and notice things like that)
However, with TTT, I will wait at least until the director's cut comes out before passing final judgement...

Add in Glorfindel, more Denethor, less Galadriel, no change to Faramir, more Denethor, more Eomer, more Grima, less soppy moments between Eowyn and Aragorn, more Denethor, and less hobbits at the beginning. And more Denethor.
And i know Denethor hasn't appeared yet (more's the pity). Im looking ahead to Rotk in case they don't have enough Denethor. They probably won't.
