Do you read the "Todays date in the Shire" thing? On your septenber 23th it was the 22nd of HAlimath which is our September in the Shire. Mine and frodo's birthday was then. IT's now the first of October in the Shire (Winterfilth).

Happy b'day to my cousin and my uncle,(also my sister here on earth, wish mine was too) i walked around today with my knee-high pants, my "Top 10 signs u r a Tolkien fan" shirt, and a piece of notebook paper taped on my shirt saying "National Hobbit Day Sept. 22" (ppl did ask and look at me weird)
not 2 be off topic, but did ne of u guys do anything kool to honor it? (i was planning on it this yr, but didn't have enough time, to invite friends over that never saw it {should b ashamed of themselves} to watch the DVD and each get sum cake w/ it saying happy b-day to our favorite hobbits" and even go barefoot into stores w/ my sandals in my "hobbitish backpack" in case neone says i have to have shoes on. well, next yr comes soon! [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
