Hobbit spoilers
Games workshop which apparently is some toy company got the license for the movies and have announced a bunch of toys that will be in the movie. By looking at this list one finally understands how MUCH has been invented. It seems like these movies are going to be actions movies after all, containing werewolves, werebears BLOOD WRAITHS. Well enjoy, just don't slit your wrists.

Games-Workshop is not a reliable source when it comes to Hobbit movie spoilers. It's a table-top miniature game that makes up what it wants for their own gaming fan-fic purposes. All their announcement means is GW can cash-in on The Hobbit craze too, and use characters that appear in the movies. It does not mean the characters they create for their Hobbit game are in the movies.

GW figures aren't 'toys', they're tiny figures intended for playing role play games with, though people also paint and customise them as a hobby (we have a few, until age and poor eyesight made this a bit difficult). Painted, they look fantastic.
And yes, they do include lots of figures in their ranges that are either canonical but not featured in the films (we have a Lobelia one) or simply completely non-canon. Though if they are going to have Barrow-Wights in The Hobbit films, I don't care if they're not in the books, I will be seriously intrigued.

They can't invent everyting out of thin air, a lot of these toys will be in the movies. Some not but most probably will. I always wondered how they'd deal with Beorn and his shapeshifting abilities. If they are going to include werebeasts werewolves and vampires maybe one would get some background info on Beorn. Ohh boy wouldn't that ruin the hobbit?

Those figures sound like a lot of fun. I'm not familiar with Games-Workshop myself, but if the figures are as nice as Lalwendë says, I would love to see them someday. Maybe someone will put photos of them online once they come out. If they're sold online, surely they'll do that.
