I have never had the time or ambition to actually sit down and read the Simarillion, and that may explain why I do not know EXACTLY the answer to this question, or rather statement:
In ROTK it directly quotes that Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth is the kinsman of the Lord, I am assuming Lord Denethor. Denethor's wife, as quoted in the Appendices of ROTK, was the daughter of Adrahil of Dol Amroth, and here is the question: was Denethor's wife Imrahil's sister, making Imrahil the uncle of Faramir and Boromir? Or did Tolkien even provide a precise answer to this? Please help!

You're quite right, Imrahil was Finduilas' little brother.
Here's a Dol Amroth family tree, if you're interested: http://www.tuckborough.net/imrahil.html#Genealogy:

Yes, Imrahil is the brother of Finduilas, which means:
-Imrahil is the uncle of Boromir and Faramir -Brother of Denethor BUT, here's a twist. Imrahil is the father of Lothiriel, WHO MARRIED EOMER! Eowyn, Eomer's brother, married Faramir, Imrahil's nephew. So Imrahil is both Eomer's uncle and father. <font size=1 color=339966>[ 4:36 PM February 05, 2004: Message edited by: Kransha ]

Also, as Finduilas' family has an elvish ancestor, Faramir and Boromir have a teeny bit of elf in 'em.

I've always thought it was funny that Faramir married Eomer's sister, then Eomer married Faramir's cousin. Talk about joining nations!
