For Mac OS X people

1. Double click on the hard drive icon.
2. Open the Applications folder.
3. Open the Utilities folder located within the Applications folder.
4. Open the program Terminal. If it's not there, do a Sherlock search for it.
5. When you open Terminal, a window will come up. It will have writing in it. Don't delete the writing.
6. Enter grep "LOTR" /usr/share/calendar/calendar.history. Press Return.

Symestreem, before asking anyone to enter coding in a forum, you should have explained it a bit.

I didn't know what to do with this myself, so I googled for it:

"Seems at least one of the those that contributed to the BSD Unix kernel OS X utilizes thought so too. To see the LotR event timeline built into OS X, do this: [...]" (source) .

Sounds cool - I'd like to see that thing for myself and would much appreciate a screenshot or something like that if possible.

Sorry, Sharku, you're right. I didn't even think about malicious coding possibilities.
This is only a search function for something already on the computer, but noone knew that.
What this does is bring up a text doc that is a calendar of LOTR. It's rather inaccurate, but I think that's because it was shifted into the corresponding dates on our calendar.
Sorry, no-can-do with the screenshot, at least right now. I have to get my name off of it somehow.
