Something in the thread magnetized the bots. They have been looking for old-tech boards to attack after their successful conquest of Arwen Undomiel last year. Council of Elrond has ben hit as well, but it never times out there. It took ten minutes go go three link clicks with a huge amount of 'visitors'.
