Hmmmmmm. . . I would bring:

a big insulated bag full of food (I don't think I can find any lembas at the grocery store)
change of clothes, including a couple hats and bandanas to keep me safe from too much heat.
I'd probably steal my brother's Swiss army knife (hey, I'm sure he has another, and I can't fight off orcs, since I wouldn't be able to hold a sword, let alone weild one, and it's best that I stay far from bows and arrows; I'd do more harm than good)
A Middle-Earth guide (complete with Westron-English/English-Westron dictionary)
Before I leave, I would go to Barnes & Noble and buy a survival book.

Oh no! I don't have any room for my bug repelent or First Aid kit!
