Mith's suggestion of everyone self-voting and letting the dead decide if they know a living wolf would be great, if everyone goes through with it. But it leaves the door open for wolf funny business, which would out their wolvery. Although I would just kill them in the night then, that might be enough of a deterrence?

It's really up to the collective of the village. I have no problem self-voting.

I'm always for stepping back and taking a good look at things and different options one has... but if they are now going to open a discussion on all options there will be nothing sorted out before three hours from now - or something.

How many "secure" voters do we have there at the DL against wolves aka. is there a good argument for early-sleepers not to vote at all if there seems to be happening nothing in the Living thread in say 1-1½ hours the most?

Nerwen seems to be unsure whether she'll have internet access at the DL.

Lalaith will probably try to vote as wolfishly as possible but as an European might need to vote early.

At least they seem to realize that they need to act soon, but no one is being forceful about it. Someone needs to say, "The Dead HAVE to vote NOW because it's late. The voting plan is X. You have 30 minutes to say if anything is wrong with that vote plan. If not, that IS the plan no matter what anyone else says later. I have spoken."

Exactly the whole question is if that's enough. There is probably Aganzir at some at least decently late-ish point, but I am with Nog on that I would prefer to wrap this up, like, now.

Which, given there are zero votes on the Living thread and looking at the list of people who could vote for being in the European timezone, is not very nice. I expect Lommy to vote in a couple of hours because of her late-evening program together with Agan, and Mith and Eomer and Kath, if she appears, are still two hours in bonus compared to us near the lakes of Rhun. Others I expect to vote just before DL.

I'm wondering if I might even pull off some half-"doze of for two hours and possibly come back"-trick, but in that case I require somebody to be here and alert to give me a vote tally, and anyway, even with that I won't vote very close to the DL. (I could at least vote when there has actually a vote been cast.)

Or I might leave that be, which I do not like to do... or pull the same trick that's been discussed here before and inquire Aganzir here about alerting me by phone call in case my vote seems to be needed. But then again, it still would be probably too early before the DL, so it might not make sense at all.

If you have to go to bed before they get a plan up, I think it might be best to swallow your vote. What if the new vote plan leads to something bad with your vote (the Baddies pile onto it). If you don't vote at all at least we'd have a shot of avoiding something like that.

Kinda... I was thinking if, say, Kath, who just now appeared, voted for one of the Orms, whether I should not cast my vote to empower her, but it is true it could create a mess. Thoughts?

And in regards to something Nerwen mentioned like ages ago and it sort of fell under the table, except for maybe one comment: Nerwen, if you are thinking about whose identity to dream, I would suggest if we get a new totally enigmatic player, then them, if not, then somebody out of Nog or Rikae, potentially the phantom. But rather one of the former (sic! I hope not).

We'll stay silent until the last hours of the Day so that the Living might get the clue: nothing happens in the Dead thread for over half of the Day and the count stands at 1588.

The living might catch it or then they don't. Or some rebellious wolves might not wish to play along just in principle even if Boro is their enemy and the killer of their packmates. But we'll nevertheless wish to give this crazy plan a chance and to give this anniversary game the ending it deserves.


So do not post anything in this thread unless the Living have caught the message, or there is something like 5 to 7 hours of the Day left.

If you feel a need to say something, follow Agan's instructions of deleting one of your earlier posts to keep the post count intact.

PS2 Let's keep the silence at least for this evening with the Americans - like 10 hours at least. Of course if the living start to think we think it's over, well of course we abandon the tactics (although I can't see why would they think that). I'm just afraid everyone doesn't remember to quote the plan-post and then some people get energized with a discussion and the plan is lost when someone comes into the middle of a discussion and hasn't seen this plan as it has gone up in the thread...

PS3. Although - a couple of posts - rarely made and including this basic message post might be good indeed during the Day if someone notices the discrepancy between the number of replies (1588) and the name of the last poster.

Morm, of course you can "see the deleted posts", they haven't been deleted, only consolidated into other posts with a note of where they originally were.
I was one of the people who called for rules against editing/deleting, and we all understood the purpose was to avoid deception about what was posted and when.
No one is engaging in such deception now.
I actually think your attempt to call what's being done now, cheating, is unsportsmanlike.
