Okay that makes sense. Apparently she was not a warrior at all and had no need to be. I was reading into it. That's my fault.

Don't worry about it..it was more interesting to me than the original topic and I hadn't noticed that loremaater reference before so to find that the Noldor were renaissance princes was fascinating. Anything that provokes reexamination of the texts and brings new insight is worthwhile.
