1. Sam-he is funny, loyal, brave, and a good friend 2. Pippin-he is funny, klutzy, and sometimes can be stupid (but that doesn't mean he is stupid) 3. Merry-he is cheerful and fun to be around 4. Frodo-he is smart, serious, and caring
