I am pretty bad at maths, but I think the result should be 100.

Just out of curiosity, how do you (whichever of you is tasked with doing it) decide who is defender, who is forward etc.? Is it the same every year?

(I am saying that because - as I have noticed already when picking the "normal" team - if I could, I would make my team completely out of midfielders, since basically the best characters and the ones I'd like to have in my team are all there. Not that I like the others less, but when making this one, I have more than once encountered the situation where I would've put an absolutely perfect character into my team, who would perfectly fit point-wise, only had he/she been a defender instead of midfielder.)

The phantom is. And it is not the same every year, even if there are some "constants" - like Fëanor, Túrin, Ar Pharazôn and Miriel I think have all been forwards every year and Elrond and Huan have been goalkeepers - and probably many others have a consistent place in the formations. But some kind of sail around trying different posts, like Elros who was scoring & feeding Ar Pharazôn last year but has now come back to his original post as a goalie, or Melian who has both tended the goal and led the defences (surprise), Or Curufin and Celegorm who tended to play defence but then required a post in the attack and proved so good last year that they continue as forwards this year; Galadriel I think has been a goalie, a defender and a midfielder, but probably not a forward...

Some of the reasons for their places in the formation are pretty obvious (Fëanor attacks, Melian defends), some I think are "historical" - as to how they fare in one year or kind of "storywise" (depending on what kind of "fellowships" are formed) etc. If you have any specific questions, ask tp.
