Mithalwen, everyone I know refers to Years 12 and 13 as Sixth Form still.

As for Oxford, I should definitely like to think it's the heart of Tolkiendom on earth! It's lovely to come across places I know Tolkien has been, and even lived: whenever my dad drives me into town, he drops me off on Merton Street! Acknowledging all this makes me giddy.
