Belated happy birthday to The Only Real Brinn!
And thanks everybody! Today was a pretty average workday for Mrs. Pitch and me, except for some cake for my colleagues and dinner with my parents in the evening, but we'll have some friends visiting on Saturday and have a barbecue (with home-raised sheep on the grill). You're all invited to drop by in your astral forms!

Why do I feel I should phrase this in a 20 Question format?
Is it a celebration? Did Bilbo once celebrate this occasion in Lake Town? Was it as joyous as the reunion of Sam and Bill the Pony? Hope so! happy birthday Pitch.

Oh, and Is it a celebration? - Yep! Did Bilbo once celebrate this occasion in Lake Town? - Almost, but not quite IIRC (wasn't it his 50th?) Was it as joyous as the reunion of Sam and Bill the Pony? - Hm, hard to tell, but it was joyous indeed (not least because my wife and aunt-in-law conspired to buy me a boxed 3-vol set of The Hobbit and Rateliff's History - yummy!); so make that a Yes!
