without being unfair to either of them, i would agree that i like strider better than aragorn, but gandalf better than aragorn. Strider is my favorite because he can be so laid back, like when he was in Bree, but also very powerful, menacing, and mysterious. He also likes tramping around in the woods, so i would like to go with him and learn all that he knows about the woods. Gandalf is wise, and seems to know everything, a very interesting character if you ask me. But if i talked to him, probebly all i would get would be riddles in response. Aragorn just seems too proud for me to really like. His change of character from aragorn as strider to aragorn as king really surprised me in how drastic it was. He went from a weather beaten wanderer to a majestic and regal king. I would have prefered him to just stay as plain old Strider.
