I agree with Ron, the question should have been: Which of the two characters is your favorite?

To which my answer would have been, I don't know.

They are both so fantastic people which such complex personnalities and ambitions. If I had to choose, I think it would have to be Aragorn as Gandalf is sometimes very complicated and illogical.
