Sir Peter? He was knighted? I didn't know that. That's funny.

I'm sorry he had a stomach ulcer go through his stomach lining. That's got to be uncomfortable.

I'm excited about the filming to start soon...yay

Exactly my reaction. I must be a calloused old gossip, because I the poor man's ulcer went by the wayside upon my realizing that "dear PJ" seems to have been knighted when I wasn't looking.

Yes, New Zealand gets to nominate its own citizens as knights since they are still part of the British Honours System. Who else are they going to nominate apart from Peter Jackson? Russell Crowe?

The film has been delayed so much already any idea on the release date?

I've read that the filing is going to start this month, and the first movie will be in theatres on around december 2012. And both movies are in 3D.
