The Prancing Pony sounds more interesting, since you have hobbits, men, and sometimes dwarves to talk to.
I'd rather have Gandalf get angry at me, since it doesn't specify who I am and what I've done. I'll assume I'm not a Nazgul or Grima Wormtongue or any other evil character. Maybe I'm Pippin, and he yells "Fool of a Took!" at me. Even if I did do something wrong, Gandalf will get angry to make sure that I don't do it again, not for any other reason.

If you were to visit one of the following Elven settlements, which one would it be?
Rivendell, Lothlorien, Grey Havens, Mirkwood, or Hollin (Eregion) when it still existed?
