Is it a person under 4 feet tall? - Yep!
Hobbit? - Yes
Was he in Gondor during the battle of the Pelennor Fields? - Nope
Is he ever known to have left the Shire? - Er, well... He isn't actually known to ever have been to the Shire. (He may have been, but we're not told.)
Iss it the nice, helpful hobbit (poor Smeagol)...? - Nice and helpful he was, but not Smeagol/Gollum.
Is he a servant of Barliman Butterbur? - Yep!
Did he work often with ponies? - *goes to check* No, it's the other one.
