Having gone through the thread with a toothcomb I think RPG Mith was being unfair when she says they have gone on wild goose/geese chases but it is clear that noone person has all available information on the Cook's disappearance.

We need Will and Hugh's information to reach the inn and Rowan's discovery to be wider known?

If Mithalwen (gah how I wish now that I hadn't borrowed her name as a screen name here) sees the box and model she might be able to give more information since she is a harbour dwelling woodworker.

Pio, I don't suppose you know if any old players might return?
