Mistaking the due date of 30-40 pages of writing.

Somehow my brain read, "Let's change your deadline from October 10th to October 7th," but only retained, "October 10th."

Guess who is two days late on a deadline and still has to write an essay on a book I'm not done reading.

I guess this means I'm not going to have time to write a new story to send in with this packet.
