The ring poem in other languages

Hooray, someone posted the German version, so I'm going to try that one (I got most of the French on too, and will have to give the Spanish one to my mum, to see if she can understand it [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]) I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a dictionary, so I may have to use a dodgy on-line translator, if so, please forgive any strange translations!

Drei Ringe den Elbenkönigen hoch im Licht,
Three rings for the elf-kings high in the light,

Sieben den Zwergenherrschern in ihren Hallen aus Stein,
Seven for the dwarves-rulers in their halls made out of stone,

Den Sterblichen ewig dem Tode verfallen, neun,
The mortal ones eternally urged by the death (???), nine,

Einer dem dunklen Herrn auf dunklem Thron
One for the dark lord on his dark throne

Im Lande Mordor wo die Schatten drohn.
In the land of Mordor where the shades drone (???)

Ein Ring, sie zu knechten, sie alle zu finden,
One ring, them to farmhands (???!!!! Sorry, on-line translator!), them all to find,

Ins Dunkel zu treiben und ewig zu binden
In the darkness to float (???!!!) and eternally bind them

Im Lande Mordor wo die Schatten drohn
In the land of Mordor where the shades drone.

Sorry, I may wish to revise this when I find my dictionary!
