Guarcrist, I think what happens is that when someone starts a new RPG, those on the list are contacted. I don't know if any new ones are in the pipeline since the RPG forum has been quiet recently with mainly a few old games drawing slowly to a close. Pio is around but not necessarily on a daily basis - I am sure she will get in touch.

Maybe if we get the Inn thread revitalised new games will start. However you will need to post in the Golden Perch a bit before joining any new game.

As for your profile, it isn't my call but the description seems to be the general guidlines for elves. I would suggest you need to be more specific and let us know what your elf looks like eg height, hair colour, colour of clothing maybe. Is he a high elf or silvan? thinking about this might help you develop the history a little.

WEAPONS: A dagger she has no idea how to use.

APPEARANCE: Long mahogany hair, tied into a braid with a ribbon. Pale, unattractive eyes due to blindness, about 5"5 in height, weighs around 120 pounds. Light colored skin, wears a floor length dark green dress. Has good posture, yet always looks drawn into herself, hunched. Sits with hands in her lap.

PERSONALITY/STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES: Weak of heart and body, but not malicious. She will unconditionally care for whoever she meets, no matter how rude or evil they may be. She adores her family, and her greatest fear is deep water, for she cannot swim.

HISTORY: Nessa's father is Fala Telrunya, and her mother's Seremela. She has one brother named Amras, whom she would do anything for. At the age of ten, she fell from a tall tree and was struck upon the head, blinding her.

When a family friend, Rithri, is escorting her and Amras back home to Rivendell, they are seperated and Nessa finds herself outside the Golden Perch Inn. (She doesn't know this-she's blind.)

Personality: Dislikes pain, whether receiving, causing, or witnessing it. She is shy, but adores laughter.

History: Her father tends Elrond's horses. Her mother was a maidservant of Celebrian, but sailed with her mistress to Valinor, taking her youngest daughter, Merkawen, with her. Idhreniel misses her mother and sister, but chooses to remain with Elrond as a messenger. She was sending word to Cirdan when she stopped at the Golden Perch.

Welcome to the Golden Perch, I hope your stay here is enjoyable, however long or brief it may end up being. I hope you stick around the role-playing part of the Downs, though, and join games as they come up!

I have replied to Loslote and Nessa. I'm so sorry it's been so long. For the sake of continuity, I had Nessa arrive after Loslote's character.

Cook is still missing, I believe. The inn is currently full of elves, a man, and a few hobbits. I'll PM a few people and tell them I'm back and ready to keep writing, if they are.
