More books I forgot to add: yes, the Dune Series by Frank Herbert is quite excellent. Everything by Tolkien, including: Roverandom Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Pearl, Sir Orfeo Mr. Bliss (a cute little mix of a few of the children's stories we already know, with a twist of Tolkien)
