have you heard of Sacred Seven by Amy Stout? thats a good book, has a good mini appendix at the back.
terry pratchett is a good writer. or lord of the rings by jrr tolkien [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] or terry brooks and his 'shannara' series or whatever
