Been there done that. When it's very cold, snow on the bare foot feels like sand. Running in the snow with just shorts makes you feel like your heart is going to explode.

It was balmy that day. It was Easter, and we'd had a blizzard on Good Friday, but in true Wisconsin fashion it was warm enough for short sleeves just a mere two days down the line.

Haha know the feeling. I've walked around in December with flipflops before.

Nice pics by the way, Di. My avatar is my picture because I'm too lazy to do anything else.

And I'm not at all photogenic, so I generally hate pictures.

First of all, I walk around all winter in Alaska wearing crocs or going barefoot, sometimes during firedrill at school I run through a foot of snow almost barefooted (It's all my secret plot to become a hobbit, I'm already starting to grow hair on my feet!)... I don't wear a coat unless it is below 10 degrees Fahrenheit and wear t-shirts every day...

Anyway, I thought that your avatar was a self portrait, it looks kinda like one of my cousins self portraits...
