Your new player will be Iras Sabir.

She has done some playing in The Golden Perch Inn.

I don't see why whe couldn't join in right away. She could be a particularly nosy Hobbit who's found out about the adventure and decides to go along. How does that sound? Or if one of you can suggest another way to get her right in, I'm sure she'd be willing to work with it.
