Shall we chess...?

This reminds me of a part of C.S. Lewis' The Voyage of the Dawn Treader:

(Lucy) spent a good deal of time ... playing chess with Reepicheep ... He was a good player and when he remembered what he was doing he usually won. But every now and then Lucy won because the Mouse did something quite ridiculous like sending a knight into the danger of a queen and castle combined ... For his mind was full of forlorn hopes, death-or-glory charges, and last stands.

player 1: Hah! I win again!
player 2: Aww.
player 1: I think I have an advantage playing black.
player 2: Why?
player 1: Well, you keep on sending your Frodo-bishop straight to my queen, for a start.
player 2: You mean... that's not how I should play?... Huh?
