How about a Silmarillion chess set?

Queen-Melian
Bishops-Turgon, Finrod Felagund
Knights-Eomer,Faramir
Rooks-Menegroth, Gondolin
Pawns-Hurin, Turin, Huor, Tuor, Beren, Luthien, Earendil, Huan, Barahir (although it seems an injustice to call any of them 'pawns' [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] )

~Black~
King-Morgoth
Queen-Ungoliant (although Sauron would seem to fit better, being second in command, it just seems wrong to call him a Queen)
Bishops-Sauron, Glaurung
Knights-Gothmog, Carcharoth
Rooks- Angband, Taur-nu-Fuin
Pawns-The Uruloki, the Orcs, etc.
