Personally I would prefer to be under Faramir's leadership. His gentle good nature is pleasing and likeable, and I would feel I could approach him with more ease than I could with Aragorn. Faramir I think would have a better relationship with his men, and they would be able to give better co-operation in the fighting field. Plus he has excellent skills, especially interrogatory skills, I believe?
Aragorn is a great leader also, but I think of him as being harsher and less good-tempered. This may not be the case, but I still prefer Faramir.
