But risky for two Vampires to claim to vote for the same person on the off-chance that one of them would be the Lynch Seer, surely?

As for Rune, it occurs to me that he claimed yesterDay to vote for Legate - which means, if he is a Vampire, that two of those who claimed to vote for me would have had to have been lying.

I see your points.

However, if you just look at the voting of Day 2 and 3 (which I have to admit I only did), then it quite points towards the two.

I fail to see why you're so obstinate that there was no wolf among your voters. Nogrod sure might have lied, but another one, too? That's stretching it, isn't it?

Pipe

This is doing my head in but, unless either Nogrod or Gil is a Vampire, there were four votes cast for Rikae on Day 1. So Celuien would have had to have received four votes to be lynched - Roa, Aganzir, Lomiella - and who else? Eomer?

Aaiiii!

Is there any residual possibility that Nogrod is a Vampire and our real Hunter is laying low? If so, please Hunter come forth now, as then things would surely fall into place. The Vampires would surely be Eomer and Nogrod.

I know that this may invite a false Hunter claim - but that would be a desperate ploy for a Vampire, and would result in certain defeat.

Btw - any other thoughts on how safe it is to assume that Glirdy never voted?

Yes, it probably is, although I am not for now completely discounting the possibility. We need to hear from Rikae, Nogrod, Lomiella and Aganzir.

I can't find a ruling on it either. Suffice it to say that, as Legate received 5 votes, at least one of those who claimed to vote for me was (for whatever reason) lying.

We have four stated votes for Legate yesterDay: me, Shasta, Rune and Durelin. The fact that Legate actually received five votes puts all four of us in a good light - unless at least two of yesterDay's claimed votes were lies by innocents - as to which, see above (and, yes, I know that sounds self-serving - but do you really still think that I might be a Vampire after all this? ).

My head hurts - would someone else, preferably a known innocent, mind drawing all this together into some sort of coherent form?

I voted for Spm yesterday. I'm not a known innocent, but know myself innocent - and thus I'm left with Lommy and Nogrod, if we assume that there was (at least) one wolf among Esspiem-voters, not only lying innocents (unless someone forgot to email his/her vote).
I won't speculate on which one of them could be a vampire before I know:

Kitanna - did you lie about your votes on Days 1 & 2? I mean, the Shade could have had a reason to do so. Knowing this would help us to analyse the voting records of those Days, especially the death of Celuien.
And thank you for protecting Rikae (I guess she's the one you protected as there would have been no reason to protect anyone else), I had already given up hope that you (the Shade) would do so, after your attack on her.

Well, I'll be voting for Eomer toDay.

That was easy.

I see no reason to doubt Kitanna. Unless she's the last vampire and is mounting the most improbable "go it alone" strategy ever, Eomer's virtual confession just now sort of seals the deal.

Eh, I worded that wrong. Eomer is almost certainly a vamp, but I also see no reason to doubt that Kitanna is the Shade since it would be madness for her to sacrifice Eomer and try to go it alone.
