How many times did Tolkien rewrite The Lord of the Rings before it was published for the first time?

None. He found it on the internet, printed it out, and sent it to the publishing company. Luckily for Tolkien, no one ever bothered to look into it.

How many times will a BDer incorrectly guess another BDer's gender before he/she gets it right?
