Well, I was actually thinking of postponing the game off for a bit right now as it is awfully close to Christmas and I myself will be quite busy in January because of Exams and such. So, what say you all to postponing the game after this week for a bit?? Or maybe after New Year's?

Well, I'm not maybe the one whose word bears the most weight since I don't (have to) post as frequently as you others do. But anyway I will comment on this.

I think it'd be nice to have a Christmas + New Year pause, since I'm visitng family/relatives in Eastern Finland and they don't have a net access. As to a pause in January, well, I don't have anything special to do then (I have holiday for the first week) and could and would like to play, but of course if you folk are all busy I understand it would maybe be a wise move to have a pause. (It would maybe be healthy for me to focus less on BD. ) So, do what seems best.

What do you, Naria, Eomer, Valesse and Sixth, think?

Shield

My only experience of RPGs has been ATM which has been rumbling along for approximately 6 years now, so I'm very happy for it to go along at a slow pace or even to have a break if you want.

Though I warn you, Glirdy, that you should probably come up with a date that ends the pause and when people should start posting again (and you, of course, show example ). In my opinion, with a clear deadline the risk of the continuing day moving further and further away and finally the RPG becoming inactive and players losing interest is smaller.

And sorry if I'm appearing too bossy though I don't think I have any more - if even less - experience or knowledge in these things that you guys do.

Valesse has just left Hobbiton.
I like the idea of just keeping it 'rumbling' on slowly, as Eomer put it. I've see a good many role plays in my day (wheezewheezesputter) and once time is taken away from game play it's usually harder to get back on it's metaphorical feet and walking the same... again metaphorically.

Who knows? Maybe by some weird chance there's going to be a day or two this holiday season where we're all posting here like werewolf players... okay, maybe thats optimistic, but it -could- happen!

Erhm, I'm gettin kinda antsy for you guys to get to my cabin.

A pause over the 24th and 25th would be a must, but other than those two days I'm wide open for time. I do think that if the pause is any longer than say three or four days that the rpg might lose it's momentum and we may lose interest. I definitely would not make the pause into the new year Glirdy. Like Lommy said, if you personally don't have the time to write(right now)...then let us know when we can get started again and we can post to keep things moving?

That sounds swell, but next Wed I'm going on a houseboat for about a week, so I'll post before then.

Yes, thank you Val. I've been caught up in other things and am havnig writer's block for awhile. It's only because I'm out of school right now. Don't worry, I'll be back in awhile and I'll have my post up.

Crystal and Cordelia, if you can post one last time before leaving (unless your already gone), that would be great. Thanks.
