Cheers for me birthday greetings if I've not got back to yous yet!
 No swords this year, I've got an interesting book here called The Real Middle Earth by Brian Bates (already read a load of it  ), a set of Ulysses31 DVDs (very cool cartoon) and the new 10th anniversary hardback set of His Dark Materials with the extra background information in each volume, from davem. And Happy Birthday to anyone else I've missed lately! The shame...  Now for some cider...

In order for it to be so, I think you should stay away from the cider. I tasted the brittish cider on my last vissit and I think even Sauron fears it. Anyway that is some pretty sweet pressents you have gotten. . .

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, those who did so via PM as well as here. I was going to reply to PMs but then got caught up in the board trouble and was preoccupied with cramming some werewolf in. Anyway, thank you all.
Alas, I had a very un-Tolkien theme to my birthday gifts: cats. Which suits me right down to the ground, but I fear assigns me to Mordor.
