Yes, I've read the sticky and I knew that it was up to the admins and mods, and that it is quality that matters. But I didn't know about the 500 post rule (or maybe rather policy?). Thanks for the information! Now I have to go and write a few hundred, great, high quality posts and spread them around this place!

(EDIT: I searched the Members List a while and found people with PT with less then 300 posts, and not few with less then 400... Exceptions?)

there are always exceptions, but look at their joining dates too

also, Son Of Numenor gained a title becaue, as far as i know, is looking after another site for the Barrow-wight.

Yes, some of them probably are those rare exceptions. Also, some of the older members who got their PTs over two years ago probably had more posts at one time. I think back when the site was changed several posts were lost. I know at one time I reached 1,000 posts- after the change I lost around 200.
