I think that either/both of these makes for excellent grounds for Bergil's entrance into the story, but I'm hesitant on the grounds of "well, do we want the menfolk to know that? Because surely they'd try and do something" in the case of the ladies, and "well, then they'd be on their guard" in the case of Tharonwë. Anyway... Thoughts? Suggestions?
