Valesse I thought I could break down the nights easily for you...

Night begins, players must all pm their favorite character of the day to a mod, then players must post a small post with them stopping for the evening at their scenario spot and choosing a campsite. This is all that is required of players during the night phase. If players desire they can converse in RPR (role playing race style

) with players near them (will be posted each night).

Taking a conservative stance on this, I believe 24-hour nights would be better. One can never be certain when the internet will be available. If you're trying to cram the game in so that it's finished before a certain date then you might have to select 12-hour nights; but otherwise I think it's best to be safe.

As for me, I am a ranger of course. A human ranger. As for color uh... teal should suffice. Ahem, now moving on... a name... Ransley (Pronounced: Ran-sleigh) works I hope. (Ranger + Sleepy if you wanted to know).

I understand the desire for more time during nights, and I would be for it, if it weren't for one small problem.

With 36 hour days and 24 hour nights, the start time of the day and night will switch every day. That is, if we start at 10 pm GMT one day, the next day it will be 10 am GMT. Now 10 am GMT is 6 am my time, and 4 am Valier's time, which means Rune would have to start the day on his own, and handle all of your choices and scenarios and questions, etc etc etc.

Also, we've divided the map into zones, and we each have our own territory. During one section, you'd be in Valier's territory and send your questions to her, and then you'd be in my territory, and then in Rune's. However, on the days when everything would start at 10 am GMT, Rune would have handle the information from our territories on his own. Valier would miss the first 4-8 hours, and I would miss the first 12 hours (due to work.) Rune has expressed that he has time contraints at this time and can't dedicate a lot to the game, and it seems unfair to dump so much work on him.

We can try to set things up so that on these days the information flow goes quickly and easily, but right now we're at a loss as to how. If you really want 24 hours nights, perhaps you can come up with some ideas on how we can overcome this problem.

I believe I have solved the problem myself.

Days and nights will go as follows....

Day start= 1:00 pm CST} 36hrs
Day ends=1:00 am CST }

Night starts at Days end=1:00am CST} 24hrs
Night ends=1:00 am CST}

I will be available Day start and Night start all the time. During each mod's zone you will pm them only with your 3 scenario questions, all other pm's regarding direction and voting can be directed to any Mod and you will receive an answer when they are available. Other than that I am available through the whole game...about 20 hrs per Day phase.

Reminder to all players
All players must include in their first post, their Name, age, race, location, short visual description and all items described that are on the "list". Each of these must be bolded!!! Also players must include how they found the message on the bottle label and why they decided to go on this journey.

And we still have room for a few more players.....

After this is up in the other thread please start posting your first posts(on game thread) following the guidelines I have provided. You have till Monday the 7th to get your first post up. If all are up and everyone is ready by Monday we can start, if not I can postpone the first day until Tuesday the 8th at the latest. If you have any questions about your first posts please don't hesitate to ask.
