Oh wait wait, I change my guess! JennyHallu perhaps? She has a lady in red in her avatar and being a "hallucination" she is something you usually see rather than hear.

No she's not a well known downer because the clue is fairly literal on not heard often. Much more so than the downers you are mentioning.
