From my own point of view I need the help from the village to arrive and the fire etiher to be put out or to be sufficiently under control to allow for a couple of the other to be free to hold down the ruffian while Elfride does her battle field surgery.
If Thomas were one of the assistants it would give 6th Wizard a chance to develop his back history?
