Ciao everyone,
my name's bradamante , I'm posting from Italy. I can't speak a good english nor understand it very well so I beg you pardon in advance for all the mistakes and troubles that I'll cause...

I'm studing Biotechnology at university, just finished my second year.
I'm fond on tolkien writings, almost all my hobbies are connected to this: actually I'm ending a shirt of mail, like Bilbo's one ( strange hobby for strange girl ) and I'm reading the Lotr in its original language.
This morning I began chap.8, first book, and surfing the net I discovered this forum...
Well, here Bradamante introducing herself, see you on next post folks!

Welcome to the Downs bradamante, and don't worry about your English. If I could speak Italian even half as well as you can speak my language I would, well, probably faint in amazement but you get the point.

Join the quizz-room or the Books-section if you are hard-core Tolkienists or just stick to the Mirth-section if you like to have good fun, werefolfing and RPG'ing. Or take all, which is the best option.

And do not dare away from the sophisticated discussions on some threads. What I myself have seen in this half-a-year of mine is the great tolerance about everywhere here. So just ask and state your points, they will be resounded and taken in to the consideration.

Feel at home now as you have entered the spell-zone from which you will not be able to get away, anyway, anymore...

PS. And Bradamante, do not hesitate because of the language, there are many of us non-native English-speakers... We have been tolerated here, so you will be too. And day by day, you too learn to write better... Remember: the more you write the better you come with it.

Welcome Bradamante! just to let you know, you speak better english then you think. and with the kids of today, you probaly speak better then them too with all their slang and whatnot
