Interesting list. While I will give Robin, Chewbacca, and Dr. Watson their due, I fail to see how Ed McMahon, George Costanza, and Ethel Mertz outrank Sam. But maybe I'm just biased.

The one thing that sticks out though -- where is Tonto?!
