Hey now, The Lord of the Rings is not a "children's story book"! Tolkien himself said it was not aimed towards children like The Hobbit was. It is darker and deeper.

I think that the extended version of FOTR explains why Legolas is in the mirror. I honestly think that that particular part should have been showed in the orginal movie because if not, it would cause confusion among those who have not seen the extended version.
Sorry if anyone else put this... there were so many posts, i didn't bother to read all of them.

By the way... you guys leave Leggy alone! He never hurt anyone. I don't think he's prissy... he's just a metrosexual... he takes care of himself. Nothing wrong with that.
