My dad is a bit like Saurman!

One minute he is buttering you up one side and down the other, the next, cussing you for everything under the sun and calling you every thing but a child of God!

I am a cross between and elf and Gandalf - deeply spiritual, poet, loves nature and animals, a mentor to many, people have told me that I am wise beyond my yrs. I am a visionary, see things for what they are, believes the impossible, has a longing in my heart for all that is good and right.

I think that this one poem sums up my life.
Quote:
Cry for the Dawn of ages Past.
Look with eyes forlorn
against the day that shall be last.
Across the Great Sea shall sail
the ships that Eldars once borne
to Land where Hope will prevail once more.

FREEDOM by Joy

Lord, my heart wants to stay forever true
Yet in this dark world, my eyes are pulled from You.
Caught in the turmoil of each new day
I am tempted in every way.
My heart seeks an answer
But my mind is such a blur.
Then in the quite depths of my soul
A sweet small voice speaks, calms and consoles.
“Please, my child, have no fear
I hold you close and dear.
I know your hearts prayer and cry.
So I’ve planned an escape whereby
You may against the temptations stand
This freedom only comes through one Man
Remember My Son on that cruel cross
It was for You, child, His life He lost.”
His death upon that tree
Gave victory to me.
Yet it was that empty grave
that causes my heart not to wave.

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
