In RL I flicked the rear view over a bit so that I couldn't see behind me with it, but I also wasn't blinded. In the dream, I did nothing.

The killer is animal, the victims are animal. What does the driver think of this?

This driver gets vaguely queasy at the thought of violence, especially toward anyone or anything unable to help itself, and does not tolerate it in her presence.

That's all I can come up with. Have fun with it.

Interesting what the interpretation of a mostly literal situation is.
