Oh Doctor Dream, I beseech you...

In my dream, I drove soberly for four companions very remarkably less so. Upon my discovery of a herd of deer in the middle of the road I was on, with headlights half-blinding me in my rear view, a bear arrived.

And then Tollin came. I almost think that Anguirel came out of the woods, but I cannot remember. I forgot most of the dream when I woke up.

You sobre, driving: you in control
four friends, drunk: aspects of you that are not in control of you
driving: you going through life
herd of deer: obstacle that poses threat to your life but is not intrinsically dangerous
half-blinding headlights from behind: something in the past that is obscuring your vision
bear: potential threat

Was the bear after the deer? You?

The bear massacred the deer in front of me while my drunken companions expressed confusion at our lack of motion.

Well that's rather a critical detail to leave out!

*LMP glares @ Fea*

Now, the headlight in the rearview mirror could be blocked by merely putting a hand in the way. Did you do that? Whether you did or not, the situation from the past still is powerful enough to cause your perceptions of what's before you to be altered.

But the bear is seen massacring the deer regardless of the glare of headlights. The killer is animal, the victims are animal. What does the driver think of this?

Here's the important thing: whatever terrible thing that is going on, represented by the deer massacre, has caused your life (you driving the car) to stop moving forward. There's confusion, but it's subdued. Enough. That's all I can come up with. Have fun with it.

My phone said that the number where the SMS was from was just 30. Nothing else. I was left wondering how Ang knew my phone number and how had paavo got in so that no one had noticed.
room = self
downs = pleasure
cleaning = responsibility
clean + room = taking care of yourself
Paavo = someone else takes care of you for you
30 = ?

How do you see paavo?
How do you see Ang?

Presumably that most of the dream actually happened the night before I dreamt it is also an important fact, then?

I was merely amused that Tollin made a cameo.

In RL I flicked the rear view over a bit so that I couldn't see behind me with it, but I also wasn't blinded. In the dream, I did nothing.

This driver gets vaguely queasy at the thought of violence, especially toward anyone or anything unable to help itself, and does not tolerate it in her presence.

Interesting what the interpretation of a mostly literal situation is.

Maybe your dream is telling you that violent death is natural and you can't move forward until you eat meat.

So did you have a dream at all, or were you just messing with me? It doesn't matter since dream interpretation is just a bunch of playing around anyway.
