Mayonette smiled at him. He always seemed to know just when she needed someone to lean on the most. She placed her hand upon his where it rested at her shoulder.

"Does anyone understand the kind of trees that dwell there. We will need to understand this in order to get to Uncle Samuel's cottage. I agree Thomas. We shouldn't head into that wood blind. I fear that if we do once we get in we will never return," Mayonette replied. She shivered at the thought.

She looked up at Thomas and smiled to herself. She loved him so and was so incredibly thrilled to have him back in her life. Even though she was incredibly troubled her mind was slightly eased by looking at him.
