I had a very strict upbringing, my dear, and was constantly warned against such peer pressure.

I didn't mean that I deliberately chose the answers that would make me look ace just because I wanted to look ace; I meant that the answers applicable to me and the answers that make you look brainy are coreferential.

I don't see myself as liability as much as "baggage", like Merry. I want to be helpful and sometimes I have things right but my smaller stature (in intelligence, analytical levels) sometimes causes me to be overlooked-but sometimes that's a good thing.

Though I must confess, my favorite role is actually Ranger, thanks to the game I participated in before Dueling Wizards. Frustrating, but fun...and I still turned out to be cannon fodder in that game. It's a unique sort of curse.

Well, not entirely helpless, but useless maybe. All of that is true up to the point of that last sttement, which I most certainly am not.
